Tamil Nadu’s left-handed batsman Sai Sudharsan was picked in the Indian Premier League 2022 auction by the Gujarat Titans at his base price of INR 20 Lakh. He was born on 15 October, 2001 in Chennai and played all of his domestic cricket so far for the Tamil Nadu state side. Sudharsan first came into the limelight during the 2021 edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League where he smashed an impressive total of 358 runs from just 8 innings at an excellent average of more than 70.

Sai Sudharsan got the opportunity to make his T20 debut for Tamil Nadu on 4 November, 2021 against Maharashtra. Sudharsan has scored as many as 182 runs from a total of 7 T20 matches at a strike-rate of close to 120. Now he got a golden chance to play in the IPL 2022 for the Gujarat Titans against Punjab Kings.
