CSK IPL 2022 Playoffs scenarios: After entering the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season as the defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have failed to live up to the expectations so far. The four-time IPL champions have managed to win just 3 out of their 10 matches in the ongoing T20 competition. Also, while considering his poor individual form and the pressure of leading the Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja relinquished the captaincy duties back to MS Dhoni in the middle of the tournament.

The Chennai Super Kings are scheduled to cross the swords with the Delhi Capitals (DC) on 8 May, 2022 (Sunday) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. In the previous game between these two sides during IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings got the better of Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets.
