Fans try to take a selfie with Kohli in the ground

Virat Kohli is the undisputed superstar of Indian cricket. The poster boy of cricket enjoys a massive fan following which can go to any limits to get a glimpse of their favorite cricketer. An example of Kohli’s popularity was seen on the first day of the first Test between India and West Indies when a couple of fans entered the ground and tried taking a selfie with the Indian cricket superstar.

This was certainly an amusing incident but even more amusing was the Indian batsman’s reaction to it.

Kohli slams fifty on a comeback

While Prithvi Shaw stamped has authority on the first day of the first Test with a crackling hundred, the Indian skipper enhanced his reputation as a solid batsman by remaining unbeaten on a well-composed half-century.

The right-hand batsman who is making a comeback after being rested for the Asia Cup and he ensured that he is fully fit and his hunger for runs is still intact. He was authoritative against the mediocre deliveries and played cautiously when the West Indies bowlers found their rhythm.

Fans breach security, enter the ground and try to click selfies

But during Kohli’s batting, an amusing incident happened as two men breached the security and entered the ground. They ran towards Kohli and tried to take a selfie with the batsman. Kohli looked astonished in the beginning but then reacted to the intruders with composure.

He asked them not to click photos and was seen waving his hands when one of the men took out his mobile phone to take pictures. The right-hand batsman even asked the invaders to go out from the ground.

Soon, the security personals arrived and marched the invaders away.

Meanwhile, the Indian captain completed his hundred on day two of the Test match and steered India to a massive first-inning score.
