Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag is known for his fearless approach on the field as well as off the field. Like his batting, his tweets are nothing short of fireworks. In his latest tweet, he has appreciated Royal Challengers batsman Glenn Maxwell for his terrific batting performance and at the same time has taken a jibe at Maxwell’s previous team owner Preity Zinta.
RCB batsman G Maxwell is in tremendous form in IPL 2021. And during his latest exploits, he hammered 78 runs 49 off against KKR to help RCB win their third consecutive match of the season.
Former Punjab player and coach, Sehwag appreciated Maxwelll on Twiitter and at the same time took a dig at Preity Zinta, the owner of Punjab franchise. The franchise had bought the Australian cricketer for a whopping INR 10.75 crores in 2020. However, he scored just 108 runs in 13 matches at an average of 15.42 and a strike-rate of 101.88. Hence, Punjab released him ahead of the 2021 season.
Sehwag used a clip of famous Hindi actor Pankaj Tripathi in his tweet to take a jibe at Priety Zinta. You can see Sehwag’s tweet here:
