Australia Playing 11 – Australia got off their summer to the perfect start, as they thrashed England by nine wickets in the first of the five tests in the Ashes 2021-22. Pat Cummins, who was appointed the captain of Australia led his troops brilliantly and secured a dominating win over Joe Root’s England.
Australia will miss the services of the tall pacer, Josh Hazelwood who has been rules out of the second Test due to a side injury. David Warner’s participation is still in doubt, given the fact that he suffered a bruised rib during the first Test.
