Babar Azam Marriage: Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam has got engaged to his paternal uncle’s daughter. And if the reports are to be believed, the stylish Pakistani cricketer is all set to tie the wedding knot next year. Babar Azam is currently the captain of the Pakistan cricket team across the three formats of the game and under his leadership, the national side recently registered sensational series wins in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

According to a Geo News report, Pakistan captain Babar Azam will be getting married next after getting engaged to his paternal cousin. It is also understood that both the families have arrived at a mutual agreement regarding the couple’s marriage next year. The report further added that all his Pakistan teammates knew about Babar’s engagement and Babr Azam Wedding which will happen next year.

Incidentally, during a recent Q/A session on Twitter, veteran Pakistan cricketer Azhar Ali was asked to say some words for his teammate Babar Azam. In response to the fan’s query, Azhar hilariously asked his captain to get married.
“Shadi kar lay (get married),” was the reply from Azhar Ali. In the meanwhile, there are not many details regarding Babar Azam’s paternal cousin with whom he will be getting married next year.

From the cricketing point of view, after results as captain in South Africa and Zimbabwe, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan team has a pretty busy schedule ahead this year. Pakistan will be flying to England on June 22, soon after the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) are completed in the UAE.

The national team is scheduled to play against England and at home and away and also supposed to host a home series against New Zealand alongside a limited-overs assignment with Afghanistan in the UAE. And all of this happens before this year’s ICC T20 World Cup which will be an important assignment for Babar Azam as the captain of the Pakistan team.
