AUS vs SA

AUS Playing 11: Australia will take on Bangladesh in the final T20I of their tour at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Australia finally got their first win on the tour in the 4th T20I. The pitches have been bowler-friendly and 130 looks like a winning score. Australia’s inexperienced batting line-up has been exposed and run making hasn’t been easy at all. They will look to replicate the last match’s performance and end the series on a high. Despite losing the series, Australia leads Bangladesh in the head-to-head record in T20Is 5-3.

Team News

  • Riley Meredith is out due to side strain.
  • Australia can rest Josh Hazlewood here. Mitchell Starc is likely to replace him.

Stand-in skipper Matthew Wade has struggled which will be a concern for the team. Dan Christian’s 30 runs in one over was a statement for the selectors about his hitting abilities. Mitchell Marsh has been the brightest spot for them so far. Bowling looks good with Mitchell Swepson impressive in his first match of the tour.
