Dewald Brevis hits Biggest Six in IPL 2022: The ongoing 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed an amazing six-hitting barrage so far on the belter of tracks in Mumbai and Pune. In the today IPL 2022 match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, the Mumbai Indians (MI) are crossing swords with the Punjab Kings (PBKS).

For the Mumbai Indians, 18-year-old Dewald Brevis famously known as ‘Baby AB’ has set the stage on fire by smacking Punjab Kings leg-spinner Rahul Chahar for as many as four big sixes in a row to turn the match on its head while smacking a total of 29 runs in a single over. Brevis has also blasted the biggest six in the Indian Premier League 2022 season as he hit a monstrous 112 metre six off the final ball of Chahar’s over. In the same over, the South African youngster had also hit a 102 metre six.

Before Brevis, it was Liam Livingstone who smashed a massive 108-metre six while playing for the Punjab Kings in the game against Chennai Super Kings earlier in this IPL 2022 season.

The Punjab Kings after losing the toss and batting first, posted an above-par total of 198 for 5 on the scoreboard in their 20 overs. Both their openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal batted amazingly well to register impressive half-centuries each. Towards the end, Jitesh Sharma also contributed with a very useful cameo of 30 runs off just 15 deliveries.

In the chase, the Mumbai Indians surely fought hard till the end but the five-time champions once again finished on the losing side. MI were restricted to 186 for 9 having conceded their fifth successive defeat in this IPL 2022 season.
