Deepak Hooda Cricket India vs West Indies: In a massive breaking news update, India’s young swashbuckling batsman Deepak Hooda is not playing the opening T20I match against West Indies scheduled to be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. The Men in Blue will surely be feeling very much high on confidence after having registered a brilliant 3-0 ODI series whitewash against West Indies recently. Both the teams will now be playing an exciting five-match T20I series.
India skipper Rohit Sharma mentioned at the toss that Deepak Hooda is not part of the side for this opening T20I encounter against West Indies. Hooda’s absence comes as a big surprise after his brilliant performances off late for the national team in the shortest format of the game. The swashbuckling right-hander notched up his maiden T20I century against Ireland and also did well in the first T20I against England.
