Angry Virat Kohli slams wall in frustration in the dressing room after getting dismissed

The visitors are not having the best of the Day 4 of the ongoing fourth Test match. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja started the proceedings of the day for their team. The duo negotiated the first hour and was very watchful. But Chris Woakes came into the attack and trapped Jadeja in LBW and then followed it with Ajinkya Rahane.

To worsen things more, Moeen Ali during the 111th over of the innings removed skipper Virat Kohli. The bowler bowled drifter outside off that kept going straight with the angle and the right-handed batsman played for the turn and pushed forward, the ball found the edge and landed in the hands of Craig Overton at slip and saw skipper Kohli back in the hut for 44 runs.

The Indian skipper was gutted with himself after he nicked one-off and on his way back to the dressing room was seen hitting the wall in frustration.

ENG vs IND: Can Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur take India’s lead past 300 runs?

Shardul Thakur

After losing three wickets in the first session of the fourth Test match at The Oval, the onus lies on wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur to take the visitors into a comfortable position. Thakur, who top-scored for the Virat Kohli-led side in the first innings with 57, has looked positive and smashed two exquisite boundaries while Rishabh Pant has been extremely cautious. With two-session remaining in the day it would be interesting to see if the duo helps India take a lead of more than 300 runs.
