Nottingham Weather Update for Day 1
The weather and overhead conditions have always played a significant role when Test cricket is being played in England. The big India vs New Zealand World Test Championship Final as well as the two Test matches between England and the Kiwis witnessed a lot of rain interruptions earlier this summer. However, the weather forecast for Day 1 of the Nottingham Test match looks pretty much clear as the rain gods are expected to stay away for the whole day. But it will be cloudy with the average temperature being 20 degree Celsius.
The sun is expected to be out for a short passage of time at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Wednesday but there will be enough help for the fast bowlers. The pitch on Day 1 of the Test match will surely be challenging for the batsmen but a lot will depend on how much grass is left on the surface.
