The series between England and Pakistan is becoming interesting due to the off-field comments. The Pakistan team lost the ODI series to a second-string team and the former players like Shoaib Akhtar and Ramiz Raja lashed out on Youtube regarding lathargic performance by the team. But, they won the 1st T20I and beat the strong England squad. The team’s T20 form has been fine and the PSL has certainly benefitted almost all the players.
The wicket-keeper batsmen Jos Buttler will be back in the England team after recovering from injury. He last played in an international match against Sri Lanka on June 23. The team literally needs his player of caliber to level the T20I series. The standing coach Paul Collingwood had a say on the comeback of Buttler.
“We have Jos fit again and he is ready to go so he will come back into the side. It will be good to see Jos back in the ranks. He has experience and we all know what he can do at the top of the order,” Paul Collingwood told reporters.
M Parkinson: The spinner has been a fine limited-overs player and has been taking wickets consistently in the T20 format. Although he gave away lot of runs in 1st T20I, he has the backing of the coach that can give him added confidence.
L Gregory: The all-rounder has heaps of experience in the T20 format and has proved himself in the ODI as well as 1st T20I against Pakistan.
S Maqsood: The player who has the flexibility to play at any position had been impressive in the PSL and can be one of the best performers in this game.
