2. Sachin Tendulkar
The leading run-getter in the cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, is second fastest to 10000 runs in ODI. The God of Cricket recorded the milestone against Australia in his 259th innings in 2001. The batting great amassed 18426 runs in his ODI career. Apart from the most runs in 50-overs format, he also has most centuries and half-centuries to his name in his format.
3. Sourav Ganguly
Despite known for his immense contribution to Indian cricket as a skipper, Sourav Ganguly has also been the prolific run-scorer for the Men in Blue in ODIs. The southpaw is the third fastest to 10000 runs in ODI. He achieved the feat in his 263rd innings in a match against Sri Lanka in 2005. Ganguly scored 11363 runs at an average of 41.02. His tally of 11363 runs included 22 centuries and 72 half-centuries.

4. Ricky Ponting
Arguably, the greatest Australian batsman Ricky Ponting is fourth on the list fastest 10000 runs in ODI. The most successful skipper in the world, Ponting, achieved the feat in his 266th innings against South Africa in 2007. He was prolific run scorer for Australia in ODIs with more than 13700 runs to his name. He also scored 30 centuries and 82 fifties in 50-over format.
5. Jacques Kallis
Being compared to Sachin Tendulkar in batting and Zaheer Khan in bowling, depicts how good a player was Jacques Kallis. He’s fifth fastest to 10000 runs in ODI. The all-rounder achieved the feat in his 272nd innings in a match against Australia in 2009. He scored 11579 runs in his ODI career to go with 17 centuries and 86 fifties.
