Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav stole the limelight for his side as he smashed the second fastest fifty for India in the shortest format of the game. The fastest fifty by an Indian in T20I belongs to none other than Yuvraj Singh. The southpaw achieved the feat during the 2007 T20 World Cup match against England when he smashed 6 sixes in 6 balls to Stuart Broad. During that innings he smashed the fastest fifty also as he took 13 balls to reach the milestone.

The second Fastest 50 for India in T20I was scored by Suryakumar Yadav in the second T20I of the three-match series against South Africa on 2nd October in 2022. The batter took the Proteas pacers to cleaners and tonked them all over the park. He played with the strike rate of over 180 and reached the 50 in just 18 balls.
KL Rahul has the joint second fastest fifty in T20Is for India. The opening batter took also took 18 balls to reach the milestone. He achieved the feat during the T20 World Cup 2021 clash against Scotland in Dubai.

The fourth fastest fifty by an Indian batsmen in T20Is belongs to former Indian skipper Gautam Gambhir. The opening batter achieved the feat in a game against Sri Lanka in 2009 when scored half-century in just 19 balls.
The fifth Fastest 50 for India in T20I was hit hit by Yuvraj Singh, who smashed in a game against Australia in 2007 in T20 World Cup. He achieved the feat in just 20 balls.
