The southpaw achieved the feat during the 2007 T20 World Cup match against England when he smashed 6 sixes in 6 balls to Stuart Broad. During that innings he smashed the fastest fifty also as he took 13 balls to reach the milestone.

    The second Fastest 50 for India in T20I was scored by Suryakumar Yadav in the second T20I of the three-match series against South Africa on 2nd October in 2022. The batter took the Proteas pacers to cleaners and tonked them all over the park. He played with the strike rate of over 180 and reached the 50 in just 18 balls.
