Suryakumar Yadav Fastest hundred: In a massive breaking news update, Suryakumar Yadav has smashed the second fastest hundred for India in the T20I format of the game during the ongoing series deciding third T20I match against Sri Lanka being played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The right-handed middle-order batsman finished as the leading run-getter in 2022 as he mustered a staggering total of 1164 runs at an average of over 46 from as many as 31 T20I games.

While facing only 45 balls, Suryakumar Yadav has smacked his third T20I hundred in the third game against Sri Lanka on Saturday. This was also the second fastest T20I century by an Indian cricketer after Rohit Sharma’s 35-ball hundred. During the third and final T20I against the Lankan side, Suryakumar contributed with a staggering unbeaten innings 112 runs off just 51 deliveries that included a total of 9 sixes and 7 fours. He went past KL Rahul’s previous record of century off 46 deliveries against West Indies in 2016.

Suryakumar Yadav already has his name in the list as he scored an amazing 48-ball maiden T20I hundred against England in 2022. While having played just 45 T20I games, the swashbuckling Mumbai batsman has notched up 1578 runs at a phenomenal strike-rate of over 180 that includes as many as 13 fifties and 3 centuries.
