Kedar Jadhav made a strong comeback into India team by claiming three wickets against Pakistan. His effective spin bowling maintained the pressure built by frontline bowlers and ensured Pakitsan were bundled out cheaply. Jadhav credited his performance to his improved fitness which he believes has definitely helped him and has made him a different cricketer.
He was speaking with the media after the match against Pakistan in which India defeated the arch-rivals by eight wickets. Jadhav said that he feels his fitness has improved after his surgery, and in the last four months he has learnt a lot about training and fitness.
The Indian cricketer elaborated on his fitness schedule and the changes he has made in his routine. He noted that every time he did his rehab previously, he used to start playing, and thinking that the problems won’t come back again.
And he admitted that many a time he also used to miss his routine, but now, regardless of how he feels, he starts his day with either gym or running.
He claimed that this gives him confidence that he is getting stronger and fitter every day, and this helps him on the field.

Roped in the team as a finisher, Jadhav in the recent games has emerged as a more than handy spin option for the team. He has dismissed some high quality batsmen with his unorthodox bowling action and has become a serious threat in the middle overs.
Jadhav revealed the success behind his bowling. He stated that he doesn’t bowl much in the nets. Infact he said he just bowls a couple of overs in the practice session before a match.
He added that if he tries and works on his bowling in the net sessions, then whatever is there it might get broken. So he stays in his limit.
