The all rounder Hardik Pandya started his career with the Mumbai Indians team in the IPL, and impressed the selectors in the first 2 seasons due to his power hitting and wicket taking abilities. In the Indian team, he was touted to be the fast bowling all rounder, the team needed in the overseas conditions. He did justice to the faith of the selectors and the captain until 2020. But, the injury concerns and lack of form kept the all rounder out of the team most of the time, but he returned to the Indian team in T20 World Cup 2021. His only good performance came against the Afghanistan team.
Hardik Pandya has again pondered himself to a conflict, as he had a spat with the Mumbai airport customs. Hardik has himself come up with the tweet, stating that- he did declare the items himself to the customs, and was ready to pay the duties; whatever the amount.
All the documents pertaining to the purchases were given to the department and they are doing the valuation of it. While, wrong perceptions have been floating throughout the internet since yesterday, as Hardik bought a ₹5 crore watch, which is purely a rumour, according to him, and the real price of the watch is around ₹1.5 crore.
The all rounder Hardik Pandya is dropped from the Indian squad to face the New Zealand in the T20I series on the home soil. Quite rightfully, Hardik Pandya was not able to bowl minimum amount of overs, which was required by him in the T20 format due to his persistent back injury concerns, which may aggravate, if not properly taken care. The vice captain KL Rahul spoke on the omission of the all rounder in the press conference ahead of the T20I series.
“Hardik and I are good friends so we had a discussion among ourselves. He knows what exactly he needs to do (to make an India comeback) and what exactly the team expects out of him,”
