Rishabh Pant IND vs AUS: In a massive breaking news development, India are once again not playing their premier wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is not playing the series deciding 3rd T20I match against Australia at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Men in Blue made a strong comeback by winning a superb rain-truncated 2nd T20I game to level the three-match T20I series by 1-1 margin.

After winning his second consecutive toss and opting to bowl first, India captain Rohit Sharma mentioned that they have left out Rishabh Pant from their playing combination that played in the previous game. Incidentally, Dinesh Karthik was preferred as the wicket-keeper batsman in the first T20I encounter against Australia ahead of Pant, but the latter was drafted into the side during the second T20I as it was a shortened game. India have brought back senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the playing XI for this crucial third and final T20I against the Aussies.

“We will bowl first. It’s good to be back in Hyderabad and play in front of this crowd. We look to keep winning games, it’s important to maintain your momentum in this format of the game, so it was a good win for us. Australia have always been challenging, they bring in a different kind of challenge. We need to keep doing the basics right if we have to get success. The last win helped us gain confidence and I hope everyone steps up. One change for us – Bhuvi is back, Rishabh misses out, we needed only 4 bowlers in the last game, so he missed out,” said Indian captain Rohit Sharma during the toss.
