Virat Kohli, Ben Stokes fight : The India tour of England has been one of the entertaining series this year due to the on-field and off-field controversies. This has just been started with the test matches, the T20I, and ODI series will be followed after the test matches. There will be serious competition in the limited-overs series due to the talent of the England players. But, now let’s switch to the action in the 4th test match at Motera. The England team again tumbled down in the few overs and then was supported by the experienced players in the middle order until the end of the first session.

The Indian captain Virat Kohli and England all-rounder Ben Stokes involved in a furious exchange in the IND vs ENG 4th Test. The spat happened just before the start of the 14th over. It is being said that Stokes said something to Siraj in the previous over. In response to that, Virat had an altercation with Ben Stokes. At one point in time, Kohli even put his sunglasses off during the scuffle. Ben Stokes seemed to be clarifying about the incident. The umpire Virendra Sharma then separated the two players and the match proceeded in a usual fashion.

Update until the 1st session of IND vs ENG Test on Day 1  

The England team did not get off to a good start in this match as well. Ishant and Siraj started the proceedings for the Indian team. After the 5th over, Axar was introduced in the bowling attack who continued his brilliant form and picked the wickets of Sibley and Crawley in his first 2 overs. Joe Root was dismissed by Siraj for a low score.

At that time, the team was struggling to get going but the experience of Stokes and Bairstow came in handy for the team. Until the lunch session, the England team is at 74/3 with Bairstow and Stokes batting at 28* and 24* respectively. It will take a lot of effort from the batsmen like Pope and Foakes to help the team reaching a good score on this pitch.
