With his aggression, the fast bowlers have performed well in home and away test series. The 1st Test was drawn, but the spinners, Ashwin, Axar, and Jadeja were impressive, and Shreyas Iyer scripted history in his debut match. But there is a major concern for the Indian team in the 2nd Test.


Ravindra Jadeja Miss out on India vs New Zealand 2nd Test due to Injury

The Indian all rounder Ravindra Jadeja will not be featuring in the India vs New Zealand 2nd Test Match. The BCCI posted an update on Twitter regarding the all rounder’s absence.

The press release by BCCI said, “All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja suffered a right forearm injury during the 1st Test match in Kanpur. After undergoing scans, he was diagnosed with a swelling on his forearm. He has been advised rest and is thus ruled out of the 2nd Test in Mumbai.”

IND vs NZ Live: New Captains for both teams

The Indian team has made 3 changes for the 2nd Test, with Virat replacing Rahane, Siraj and Jayant Yadav coming in place of Ishant Sharma and Jayant Yadav respectively. Virat Kohli is back again to lead the Indian team.

The New Zealand team will be captained by top order batter Tom Latham in the absence of Kane Williamson. The batting all rounder Daryl Mitchell will replace the skipper, and has been in sublime form in the white ball cricket. No other changes has been done in the Blackcaps side.
