Kagiso Rabada IND vs SA 5th T20I: The stage is all set and both the teams, India and South Africa are ready to cross swords in the fifth and final T20I match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on 19 June, 2022. South Africa started off their India tour in a remarkable fashion with two amazing victories in the first two T20I games. However, hosts India came back strongly in the last two matches to draw level the five-match series with a 2-2 scoreline and set up a massive, exciting series-decider.
South Africa were belted down with a couple of injury blows ahead of the fourth T20I match against India in Rajkot as the pace bowling duo of Kagiso Rabada and Wayne Parnell were not available for selection. Both these had bowled really well for the Proteas team throughout the series having picked up wickets in pressure situations. However, there is still no clear update on their injuries.
The South African team management will be hoping that both Kagiso Rabada and Wayne Parnell attain complete fitness for the series deciding encounter against India on Sunday.

If the duo of Rabada and Parnell are termed fit for the fifth T20I match, South Africa will have a few selection issues to solve. Marco Jansen and Lungi Ngidi will be forced to sit out from the South Africa playing 11. Also, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma is very much unlikely to be available for the series decider against India after having injured his elbow in the last game and thus, Keshav Maharaj will take over as the stand-in skipper.
