The recent update is that Cricket South Africa (CSA) have tweeted that de Kock has shown improvement in his wrist injury but the final call on his availability will be taken just before the 4th T20I against India on Friday.

“Wicket-keeper batsman, Quinton de Kock, has made a marked improvement in his recovery from a wrist injury. The Proteas’ medical staff will continue to assess his progress and make a decision on his availability for match four in due course,” said an official statement by Cricket South Africa.

In case Quinton de Kock is termed fit for the fourth T20I game against India, he will walk into the South Africa playing 11 in place of Reeza Hendricks. It will then be interesting to see who will keep the wickets between Heinrich Klaasen and de Kock.
