Quinton de Kock Not Playing IND vs SA: In an important news development, South Africa’s senior opening batsman Quinton de Kock is not playing the third T20I match against India at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. South Africa have definitely performed amazingly well in the ongoing India tour as they have registered convincing wins in the first two T20I matches. The visitors now have a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series and they will be eyeing to win the series on Tuesday itself.

After winning his third consecutive toss and choosing to bowl first yet again, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma revealed that Quinton de Kock is still not fully fit and thus, was not available for selection in this 3rd T20I against India. Incidentally, the Proteas wicket-keeper batsman sustained a hand injury that kept him out of the side during the second game. Quinton did not contribute much with the bat in the first T20I against India but he has a brilliant record and experience playing limited-overs cricket in the sub-continent conditions.

“Same thing, bowl again. The colour is different, has a yellowish tinge to it. Feels hard, looks like a good wicket to bat. Same team. Just want to focus on the areas we can improve,” said South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma at the toss.
