Prithvi Shaw PBKS vs DC IPL 2022: After their brilliant victory over the Rajasthan Royals, the Delhi Capitals (DC) still have their hopes to book a place in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) playoffs. The Rishabh Pant-led team is currently placed at the fifth position on the points table with a total of 6 victories and as many losses in the competition so far. In a must-win game, Delhi Capitals will be locking with the Punjab Kings at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai on 16 May, 2022.

Ahead of the match against Punjab Kings, the good news for the Delhi Capitals is that their premier opening batsman Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital and returned to the team hotel. He missed the last three games of IPL 2022 due to high fever which was learnt to be typhoid. However, Shaw is currently being monitored by the Delhi Capitals medical team and there is still no clarity on when he will be available for selection.

“Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital where he was being treated for a bout of typhoid. Shaw has returned to the team hotel where he is currently recuperating, while being monitored by the DC medical team,” said an official statement from Delhi Capitals.
