No surprise that India are playing Jadeja. As much with conditions in mind as the fact that he is the only bowler capable of batting at 7.— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) September 21, 2018

Why’s Bangladesh keen on playing a T20? Quite similar to Pakistan’s approach against India. Senior batters would be disappointed with shot selection.. excellent figures on return for Jadeja #IndvBan #Asiacup2018— Jatin Sapru (@jatinsapru) September 21, 2018

Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja who claimed four wickets against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup match is satisfied with his performance and has said that he will always remember this comeback.
Jadeja was dropped from India’s team after the Champions Trophy last year but an injury to Axar Patel paved way for the spinner’s comeback in the team for the Asia Cup.
And Jadeja made complete use of this opportunity as he picked up four wickets in just 29 runs to demolish Bangladesh’s batting line up.
While speaking with the media after the match, Jadeja said that he will always remember this comeback because he returned to the team after a gap of around 480 days.
He also mentioned about his comeback in Test cricket. The spinner said that even in Test cricket, because the last few series have been overseas, he hasn’t been getting chances consistently. So he was determined that whenever he gets the chance he will perform, that’s all that he can control.
Jadeja also added that he was only focused about his own game and how he can improve further.
When asked about the 2019 world cup, the Indian spinner said that the World Cup is still some time away, and they are going to play a lot of matches before that. He said he can’t comment on that yet and his ambition is to perform the way he did today whenever he gets the opportunity.
Speaking about his bowling against Bangladesh, the left-arm spinner said that on a slow wicket, you have to bowl with more of your own effort. He pointed out that on a normal wicket, the ball goes through quickly after bouncing so it doesn’t give the batsman as much time but on a slow wicket you have to bowl with more effort.
