Kagiso Rabada to play RR vs DC IPL Match 7? Here’s official update


The Delhi Capitals side has been one of the strongest sides in the Indian Premier League for two years. The core Indian players are the real strengths of the team. In the opening slot, Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have good experience and are coming into this tournament after a terrific run at their respective tournaments. Then, Rahane and Pant are the combination of ice and fire which can prove to be vital in crucial situations. While Amit Mishra and Ashwin have been the most impressive spinners in the IPL history. In the last match, uncapped player Avesh Khan impressed everybody with his pace and line length.

Will Kagiso Rabada play in the RR vs DC match 7?

The South African fast bowler arrived at the team hotel on April with fellow pacer Anrich Nortje on April 6. They had to follow a strict 7-day quarantine to be featuring for the team in the IPL 2021. After completing the quarantine, they had to undergo a test and return negative to join the team camp. It is reported that the pace bowler Anrich Nortje tested positive after the quarantine period.

While Kagiso Rabada who emerged as the leading wicket-taker for the Delhi Capitals team with 30 wickets has tested negative and has joined the team camp. Here is the post by the Delhi Capitals official Twitter account about his confirmation of joining the practice sessions of the team.

What can be DC bowling combination for Match 7 IPL 2021?

After the confirmation of Rabada available for the game, the team management is sure to change the team combination. The England seam bowler Tom Curran who was expensive in the last match against CSK can make his way for the South African speedster. This will mean three pacers- Avesh, Woakes, and Rabada. The spinners Ashwin and Amit Mishra are expected to keep their place.
