Pat Cummins IPL 2022 KKR vs RR: The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are in a desperate situation at this moment in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season. The Shreyas Iyer-led team have slumped to a total of five losses on the trot and are currently languishing at the 8th position on the points table with just three victories so far this T20 season. Kolkata Knight Riders will be crossing swords against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Wankhede Stadium on 2 May, 2022.
The Kolkata Knight Riders team management have made a lot of tactical and forced changes to their playing 11 so far in Indian Premier League 2022. They are yet to find the right balance as their premier all-rounder Pat Cummins is warming the bench since the last two matches. After being picked at the IPL 2022 mega auction by KKR for INR 7.25 Crore, Cummins contributed with a tremendous match-winning performance against Mumbai Indians where he smashed a blistering unbeaten knock of 56 runs off just 15 balls.
Pat Cummins scored the joint fastest fifty in the history of the Indian Premier League off only 14 deliveries. However, Aussie Test captain has failed to deliver well with the ball so far this season and that is the major reason for his absence in the side. KKR might be tempted to bring back Cummins for the today IPL match against Rajasthan Royals. He is very much expected to replace Tim Southee in the Kolkata Knight Riders playing XI.
