KL Rahul trolled once again for his abysmal performance

Nothing is going well for Indian batsman KL Rahul. After a horrific performance in 2018, the Indian opener had a poor start to 2019. He scored just nine runs on the first day of the Sydney Test. This poor show has annoyed the fans who trolled the Indian cricketer once again on social media.

Rahul fails to make it count

Due to his poor performance, Rahul was dropped from the Indian team for the third Test. But the absence of Rohit Sharma meant Rahul got another chance to prove his mettle in the fourth Test.

But the right-hand batsman failed to use this opportunity and was out cheaply once again. He was caught in the slips on the bowling of Josh Hazlewood.

Rahul had a poor show in England where is scored only one hundred in the five-match Test series. He then failed to make an impact in the first two Tests against Australia. However, the team management still picked him over M Vijay to open the innings at Sydney and the decision has backfired.

Twitterati slams Rahul for his batting

This could well be the last chance for Rahul as Prithvi Shaw will soon return back and Mayank Agarwal has done enough to get selected at least for the next couple of series.

Fans were disappointed to see Rahul’s poor performance and expressed their dissent on Twitter.

Despite Rahul’s failure India managed to put up a decent total on the board. Mayank Agarwal continued to impress everyone with his classy batting. He scored a solid fifty but yet again the day belonged India’s number three batsman Cheteshwar Pujara.

Pujara scored a stunning hundred, his third of this series and kept the Aussie bowlers on the backfoot.
