Nepal spinner ends Big Bash stint, to represent Sixers in BPL

The young sensation from Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane is all set to play for Sylhet Sixers in the Bangladesh Premier League. The leg-spinner who featured for four games in the Big Bash League left Australia on Wednesday to play for the David Warner-led T20 franchise in Bangladesh.
Lammichance completes an impressive outing for Melbourne Stars
The Nepal spinner played four games for Melbourne Stars in this year’s Big Bash League. He claimed eight wickets in the four games and stamped his presence with his quality bowling.
His most impressive spell came against Hurricanes when he clinched three wickets and gave away only 24 runs.

Lammichance to play under Warner’s leadership
The young leg-spinner will now play for Sylhet Sixers in the Bangladesh Premier League. The team is led by Aussie cricketer David Warner who is making a comeback to franchise cricket after being sanctioned a ban by Cricket Australia for his involvement in ball tampering scandal.

Marcus Stoinis praises the young spinner
Marcus Sonis who was Sandeep’s teammate in the BPL appreciated the youngster for his performance. He said that it is just so good to have energy in the team and he noted that the young leggie has performed every game for the team.

He added that it is good to have a youngster in the team and he feels Sandeep is hard to pick, he fields pretty well, he’s got energy and he has helped them to get off to a good start. He admitted that the team will miss him, the young fella.
