Incidentally, during the previous game against Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s premier pacer Harshal Patel suffered a split webbing on his right hand while fielding at the short extra cover region. He had to leave the field to get the webbing stitched and unfortunately failed to return back in time. Harshal even could not complete his quota of four overs having bowled just a single over in that match where he conceded just six runs.

“When I caught that ball on short extra cover, I split my webbing on the right hand. I got a couple of stitches which should come off in three to four days… I think I will be ready to be a part of it (Eliminator),” said Harshal Patel as quoted by News18.

Ahead of the important Eliminator game against Lucknow Super Giants, Harshal Patel noted that he will be ready with complete match fitness to make an impact for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Also, Harshal has bowled impressively well this season of the IPL but in patches as he has picked up as many as 18 wickets from 13 games at a brilliant economy of 7.38.
