Krunal Pandya LSG vs RCB IPL 2022: The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have done really well during their debut Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season as there have been a number of special performances both in the batting as well as bowling departments. The KL Rahul-led LSG team registered an excellent 2-run win against Kolkata Knight Riders in their final league stage game of the tournament and finished with a total of 9 victories and 5 defeats. During the Eliminator of IPL 2022 Playoffs, Lucknow Super Giants will be facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 25 May (Wednesday),
The Lucknow Super Giants took some really surprising selection decisions during their last league match against Kolkata Knight Riders. One of the most shocking call was the exclusion of their premier all-rounder Krunal Pandya from the LSG playing 11. Incidentally, Pandya has been impressive both with the ball and bat in the ongoing edition of the T20 competition. The left-armer has smashed close to 200 runs and also picked up as many as 9 wickets from a total of 13 matches this year.
In order to trouble the right-hand batsmen of the Royal Challengers Bangalore side especially their top-order, the Lucknow Super Giants will be tempted to bring in Krunal Pandya’s left-arm orthodox spin bowling into play on Wednesday. During the previous league stage match against RCB, Krunal smashed an excellent knock of 42 runs off just 28 balls and also took a crucial wicket with the ball.
