Jason Holder LSG vs RCB IPL 2022: In a big news development, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) premier all-rounder Jason Holder is not playing the today Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) playoffs Eliminator against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Lucknow Super Giants have registered some really good performances throughout the league stage of their debut IPL competition. LSG finished the group stage of IPL 2022 with a total of 9 victories and 5 defeats.

After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul revealed the important update that Jason Holder misses out on selection for the today IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rahul mentioned that the major reason for the Caribbean all-rounder’s exclusion is that the Lucknow Super Giants have failed to utilise his services with the bat in this tournament so far. However, Holder has been a key wicket-taking bowler for LSG this year as he has picked up as many as 14 wickets from 12 games.

“We will bowl first. Simple reason, looks like a good wicket, we want to know what we are chasing. Hopefully we will get some swing and take few early wickets. Gowtham and Jason miss out, Krunal and Chameera come in. We were not able to utilize Jason who was batting at no. 8. It is always good if the top three set up the game for your team. Hooda has playing well, and the other guys are looking forward to do well,” said Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul during the toss.
