Smriti Mandhana reveals toughest bowler and most memorable moment

But recently it’s the Indian women’s national team’s specialist opening batter, Smrit Mandhana who took to twitter in #Askme round. Mandhana has been a pivotal figure in her team and is known for her ability of getting the big runs for her side.

So when asked about various aspects of life and cricketing career, the 23-year-old did give in some well thought of replies.

On being asked who the most challenging bowler was to face?

Mandhana has also made a name for herself in terms of stroke making that signifies her as one of the finest batters in women’s cricket at this very moment. So on being asked what was her routine before she faced the first ball of a big game this is what she said.

Smriti Mandhana announced herself on the world stage in 2013. However, she grabbed the headlines for her sensational run int the 2017 World Cup where she scored a couple of hundreds and played a significant role in Team India entering in the finals in that tournament.

The southpaw being one of the integral players of the Women in Blue, also shared what her most memorable moment has been in her cricketing career, and also the moment which she’s eager for in the near future.

 

Smriti Mandhana has been a part of 51 ODIs for Team India and has scored 2025 runs for her side with and average of 43.08. She also has 17 half-centuries and four hundreds under her belt.

In T20Is, however, Mandhana has featured in 75  games and has 12 fifties to her name with a strike rate of 120.
