Yuzvendra Chahal Most Wickets in IPL: The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are definitely performing really well in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season. Both the current Orange Cap and Purple Cap holders, Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal are part of the RR unit who have been in a stunning form so far this T20 season. Rajasthan Royals are up against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
While playing for the Rajasthan Royals, right-arm leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has achieved yet another milestone in this Indian Premier League season. He has now picked up a fabulous tally of 161 IPL wickets from as many as 125 matches at an impressive economy of less than 8. Chahal finished his spell with excellent figures of 3 for 28 in the today IPL match against Punjab Kings that included the crucial wickets of Jonny Bairstow, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Mayank Agarwal.
Yuzvendra Chahal has now taken as many as 22 wickets from just 11 games in IPL 2022 at a brilliant average of 14.50. The right-arm leggie is the fourth highest wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Punjab Kings have posted a challenging total of 189 for 5 on the scoreboard in their 20 overs. Jonny Bairstow finally returned back into form with a fine knock of 56 runs off 40 balls. Towards the end, Jitesh Sharma contributed with an explosive cameo of 38 runs off only 18 deliveries while Liam Livingstone smashed 22 runs off 14 balls.
