He got injured in the Hundred Competition last month and missed the entire Karachi leg of the tournament. Jos Buttler ‘still a while off’ from return

In his recent press conference, England coach Matthew Potts confirmed that England captain Jos Buttler is still not 100% fit and is most likely to miss the remaining Lahore leg of the Pakistan vs England T20I series. He also said that with the T20 World Cup, a few days away, Jos Buttler won’t be risked to take part in the 5th T20I.

“With regards to Jos, he’s still a while off,” Matthew Mott, England’s coach, said on Sunday night. “He’s not a player we want to take a risk on at this stage, so close to a World Cup, and it was a reasonably significant injury that he had.

“He’s champing at the bit for a game but we’ll just try and see how we go: maybe in the last game or two, he might be a chance.”

As the Karachi leg of Pakistan vs England T20I series came to an end, both sides are equaled at 2-2. After being crushed to defeat in the 3rd T20I, Pakistan came back strongly to win a last-over thriller in the 4th T20I.
