In 12 matches of the 2021 season, Mayank garnered 441 runs at a strike rate of 140.44.

2. Pat Cummins

The Australian fast bowler led the Australian team for the first time and helped them to win the 2021/22 Ashes. With ability to contribute in both departments of the game, Pat will be a valuable pick as a player in the auction and for the leadership role as well. In the IPL 2021 Phase 1, Pat scalped 9 wickets and scored 93 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders and has been in impressive form in the recently concluded Ashes as well.

3. Moises Henriques

The regular feature in the Australian T20I team is another good option for the Punjab based franchise in IPL 2022. Moises Henriques has captained for most of the matches of the Big Bash league and has helped the Sixers side to lift the title for 2 times in 2019/20 and 2020/21 season. In the last season, he played for the Punjab Kings team and will have a basic know-how of a team management working, which can help him to take quick decisions. He picked up 4 wickets and scored 31 runs in IPL 2021.
