PBKS vs KKR IPL 2021 Match 21: Possible Playing 11 of Kolkata Knight Riders

Share

KKR Playing 11: After losing four matches in a row, Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing Punjab Kings here at Ahmedabad on Monday. The season is going downwards for KKR after the win in the first match and they will look to get back to winning ways unless it gets too late. In 27 matches played between these sides, Kolkata has won 18 while 9 have gone Punjab’s way. KKR will look to maintain this dominant record over their counterparts. Last season though, both teams had a win against each other.

All players are available for selection in the KKR squad. Lockie Ferguson may get his first game of the season given Pat Cummins’ struggles so far.

KKR Playing 11 (likely)

N Rana
S Gill
R Tripathi
E Morgan (C)
D Karthik (wk)
A Russell
S Narine
S Mavi
L Ferguson
P Krishna
V Chakravarthy

The pressure will be on KKR’s openers to fire. Gill is having a forgettable tournament so far while Nitish Rana has been quiet after starting the season well. KKR’s strength is their middle order which is explosive and has experience but has failed to fire. Russell has blown hot and cold while Morgan has failed to get going. Shivam Mavi was a big positive in the last match and the pressure will be on the young bowler to perform.
