Vijay Shankar Moon Ball: The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are currently taking on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the last game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Sunrisers Hyderabad finally got their first win of the season against Punjab Kings in the last match after Jonny Bairstow played a brilliant half-century. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals also picked up a comprehensive victory over Mumbai Indians in their previous match at the same venue.

Vijay Shankar MOON BALL

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Delhi Capitals got off to a brilliant start courtesy Prithvi Shaw’s quick-fire knock of 53 runs off 39 balls. However, in a very interesting incident from the game, the ball slipped off Vijay Shankar’s hands while delivering the fifth ball of the 13th over and incidentally, Rishabh Pant who was on the crease at that time hit the head-high full toss over the long-on region for a single. Both the on-field umpires came together to discuss what actually happened on that delivery and eventually, it was given as a no-ball.

SRH captain David Warner was very unhappy with the on-field umpire’s decision as he believed that the ball had actually slipped from Shankar’s hands.

SRH vs DC IPL 2021 Live:

After a superb start provided by Prithvi Shaw’s flashy innings at the top, Delhi Capitals managed to reach a fighting total of 159 for 4 in their quota of 20 overs. Rishabh Pant also played a crucial knock of 37 runs off 27 balls that included 4 fours and 1 six while Steve Smith remained unbeaten on 34 off 25 balls. For the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Siddarth Kaul was the pick of the bowlers having taken two vital wickets of Pant and Shimron Hetmyer. It will be a difficult chase for the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen with three spinners, Axar Patel, Amit Mishra and Ravichandran Ashwin in the Delhi Capitals team on this turning Chepauk wicket.
