The 32nd match of the IPL 2021 is taking place between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai cricket stadium. KL Rahul won the toss and asked the Sanju Samson-led franchise to bat first. After Evin Lewis was foxed by a slower delivery by Arshdeep Singh, skipper Sanju Samson came to the crease. The right-handed batsman was looking dangerous but his stay on the crease was cut short by Ishan Porel for just 4 runs.

Porel, who gave 25 runs in the first two overs he bowled, delivered a short-wide delivery, to which the RR skipper Sanju Samson threw his bat at but only managed a thin nick off the top-edge to Kl Rahul, who timed his jump to perfection and took a one-handed stunner to sent RR batsman packing.

PBKS vs RR Live: Yashasvi Jaiswal falls after a valiant 49 runs

RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was brilliant with bat in his innings of 49 runs. The southpaw along with Evin Lewis gave a perfect start to his team and was very watchful when his partner was taking the bowlers to the cleaners. However, after the wicket of the West Indian batsman, the young opener took the matter into his own hands and played the aggressive role.

The left-handed batsman smashed PBKS bowlers all around the park but as he was about to reach his half-century he tried to nudge the ball to mid-wicket and closed the bat face too early and only managed a leading edge which was caught by Mayank Agarwal, who took a diving catch to sent the batsman packing.
