DC Playing 11: Last year’s runners-up Delhi Capitals will be facing Rajasthan Royals in the 7th match of IPL 2021 here at Mumbai. The Capitals are coming off a comfortable win over Chennai and will be a confident team going into this game. Both teams have played 22 matches against each other in which both have won 11 each. This shows how close the battles have been between these two talented sides. Delhi Capitals won on both the occasions in the last season which will give them confidence going into this game.

With Nortje having contracted Covid-19, he becomes unavailable while Rabada will also not be available. The Capitals could continue their winning combination for this match. Here is how their eleven could be shaped up for this match:

DC Playing 11 (likely)

P Shaw
S Dhawan
A Rahane
R Pant (C) (wk)
S Hetmyer
M Stoinis
C Woakes
R Ashwin
T Curran
A Mishra
A Khan

The openers are DC’s strength as they showed in the last game and once again, Shaw and Dhawan can play a crucial role at the top. With skipper Pant in the middle order, DC will hope for some fireworks from him and Stoinis on a good batting wicket at Wankhede. They will miss Rabada and Nortje but Woakes and Avesh Khan were impressive in the last match.
