Ravindra Jadeja replies: Ravindra Jadeja might be out of cricketing action for a while now due to injury, but has made his presence felt on social media more often than not. The veteran all rounder is known for his bold replies and slightly unconventional takes which make the rounds.
This time it was official Instagram account of Rajasthan Royals that posted a question, asking cricket fans who will be the best cricketer in 2025. Plenty gave their opinions in the comments section, but it was the CSK star man Ravindra Jadeja who quirkily replied by mentioning his own name.
The Rajasthan Royals admin ended up pinning the comment to the top and even agreed to it by writing that it’s the “End of discussion.”
Not to forget that Ravindra Jadeja has a special bond with the Royals’ and their fans, considering he was one of their key contributors in lifting the inaugural IPL Title under Shane Warne. Jadeja has made 184 IPL appearances so far, with him scoring 2159 runs, and picking up 114 wickets, making him one of the most renowned all rounders in the history of the league.
The 32-year-old was last seen in the 3rd Test versus Australia, where he sustained a fracture to the hand after getting hit by the ball. Though, he was not named in the upcoming T20I series versus England, Jadeja could very well be back for the ODI series that follows.
Nevertheless, there will be plenty of expectations from Ravindra Jadeja once he dons the yellow jersey for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), as him and his mates look to reclaim the trophy.
The 14th edition of the IPL begins on April 9. It was the Mumbai Indians who were crowned champions for the 5th time in the previous season, while, Delhi Capitals finished as the runners up.
