Pace at which Pant’s scoring, might well reach his century before @imVkohli! Whether one or both reaches 3-figure mark remains to seen, but what’s certain is leather hunt for West Indies isn’t ending soon— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) October 5, 2018

Indian skipper Virat Kohli continues to produce hundreds at will as he reached his 24th ton in the first Test against West Indies. The Indian batsman resumed the innings on day two and continued his dominance to reach yet another hundred.
The Indian skipper’s magnificent batting effort soon became the talking point on social media and former cricketers and fans congratulated him on Twitter.
With 24 hundreds, Kohli is now behind Sachin Tendulkar (51), Rahul Dravid (36) and Sunil Gavaskar (34) as the leading century scorers for India.
The Indian captain was rested for the Asia Cup after a grueling tour of England and Kohli with this hundred as proved that his ominous batting form has not been affected due to injury.
Meanwhile, India dominated the second day of the Test as well. Rishabh Pant joined Kohli on day two and hammered the West Indies bowling. He scored a quick-fire 92 but missed on a hundred.

The right-hand batsman was soon dismissed by Lewis on the individual score 0f 139. But by that time, the damage was already inflicted and the Indian skipper had taken India to a position of utter dominance.
India got off to a flying start courtesy of Prithvi Shaw’s blockbuster Test debut where he slammed a hundred and that too a brisk pace. Cheteshwar Pujara chipped in with a quickfire 86 to provide the ideal platform for India’s middle order to flourish.
