Possible Perth Scorchers Playing 11: Perth Scorchers will lock horns against Brisbane Heat to kickstart their BBL 2021-22 campaign. The Scorchers had a good season last time around, where they finished as runners-up to Sydney Sixers. Perth managed to seal the second spot on the points table, winning eight of their 14 matches. The Scorchers will hope to go one step further this time around, and win the tournament.
Cameron Bancroft is expected to open the innings for Perth Scorchers, alongside Australian wicket-keeper batsman, Josh Inglis. Left-handed Kiwi batter, Colin Munro could also bat in the top order for the Scorchers. Mitch Marsh and Ashton Turner will form a solid middle order for the three-time champions.
As for the bowling attack, Perth Scorchers have got plenty of variety in their ranks. Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff and Matthew Kelly could form a pace bowling troika. A part of Australia’s T20 World Cup winning campaign last month, Ashton Agar will be the leading spin bowler for side.
