Indian start opener Shikhar Dhawan is currently on a break from the game due to his shoulder injury but he has successfully converted this into quality time with his wife. The star batsman of the Indian team might be out of action for some time now but that doesn’t stop him from spending a gala time off-field.

Dhawan’s insatiable love for his wife

Recently, he posted an adorable black and white picture of him with his wife Ayesha Dhawan along with a beautiful caption that read, “Always got your back.” In the post, the couple can be seen hugging each other, where only Shikhar is all full of smiles, while his wife’s face is not revealing.

Dhawan is often seen posting pictures on his Insta page, as he likes to be active on all sorts of social media platforms. He possesses a huge fan following with his Instagram followers over 5 million.

Dhawan’s wife was a professional boxer, who belongs to Australia. The couple met on Facebook and soon fell in love. They got married in 2012 and have two beautiful daughters- Rhea and Aliyah and a son Zoravar.

Dhawan’s shoulder injury keeps him away from the game till IPL

Opener Dhawan recently sustained a shoulder injury during the 3rd One-day International match against Australia which ruled him out of the 2020 New Zealand tour. He was in terrific form and before he got injured he had already made 170 runs in just two matches (74 in 1st ODI and 96 in 2nd ODI). Dhawan was the top scorer for India in the second One-Day International in Rajkot. He hurt his shoulder while he dived to save a run during 3rd ODI against Australia.

He was ruled out of India vs New Zealand series 2020, and in his place Sanju Samson was called-in. Right now he is recovering and we hope to see him well soon before next month Indian Premier League 2020.
