Pakistan Playing XI for second Test

SL vs PAK: Sri Lanka and Pakistan are currently locking horns with each other in the two-match Test series. The visitors have taken a 1-0 lead in the series after they thumped the hosts by 4 wickets in Galle. The second match between the teams is now slated to take place on Sunday (24th July) at the same venue.

The countdown for the second Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan has started. The match will act as a series decider as the visitors would be looking to seal the series whereas the hosts would be desperate for the win as it would help them to draw the series.

With just one day remaining for the start of the second game in Galle, Pakistan has named their playing XI for the final match of the series. The team is pretty similar to what they fielded in the first game apart from the one forced change in Shaheen Afridi. The pacer suffered a knee injury and was ruled out of the series.

In his place, Nauman Ali has been named in the side. The side will continue with the opening combination of Abdhulla Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq with Azhar Ali slated to bat at No.3. Skipper Babar Azam will bat at No.4 with Agha Salman, Mohammad Rizwan to bat at No.5 and 6 respectively.

The bowling department will start from Mohammad Nawaz who will play as an all-rounder while Yasir Shah, Hasjan Ali, Nauman Ali and Naseem Shah are next in the line.
