- Rasikh Salam has been ruled out of IPL 2022 due to a lower back injury. Harshit Rana will be replacing him in the squad.
- Shivam Mavi or if they go for an additional batter then Rinku Singh could replace Salam in the eleven.
- Ajinkya Rahane’s form is a big concern.
- Sam Billings is going well, but if the management brings in Aaron Finch, Billings has to sit out.
- Aaron Finch and Venkatesh Iyer can open the innings, whereas, Sheldon Jackson could come in for Rahane and don the keeping gloves in the absence of Billings.
