SRH Playing 11: Sunrisers Hyderabad will face the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the 31st match of IPL 2021 here at Delhi. This season has been forgettable for Sunrisers so far as they have lost 6 matches out of 7 and are on the brink of elimination. The change in captaincy hasn’t helped the team’s cause as they suffered another massive defeat to Rajasthan in their last game. In overall head-to-head record in 17 matches, MI leads SRH 9:8. Earlier in the season, these teams have met each other once in which Mumbai emerged victorious defeating Sunrisers by 13 runs.

All players in the SRH squad are available for selection. Holder and Suchith might replace Nabi and Samad from the last game.

SRH Playing 11 (likely)

Manish Pandey
Jonny Bairstow (wk)
Kane Williamson (C)
Vijay Shankar
Kedar Jadhav
Jason Holder
Jagadeesha Suchith
Rashid Khan
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Sandeep Sharma
Khaleel Ahmed

SRH has struggled to find a stable combination throughout the season. Even dropping Warner and appointing Williamson as the captain didn’t help as they suffered another humiliating defeat. Bairstow and Williamson will need to lead the side’s batting order if they are to post a big total. Jason Holder can induce the momentum in the late overs with his hitting abilities. Bowling has always been Sunrisers’ strength but this season, they have conceded far too many runs.
