भारत बनाम पाकिस्तान : भारत ने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ शानदार जीत दर्ज की
A resounding win for India, especially considering playing back to back matches in this heat. The bowlers were brilliant and Rohit led the team brilliantly. Congratulations! #IndvPak— VVS Laxman (@VVSLaxman281) September 19, 2018

The first clash of India vs Pakistan of this edition of Asia Cup unfolded at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai on Wednesday where India outplayed Pakistan by 8 wickets. Twitterati were already hyperactive before the tie and it completely berserk after India sent their neighbour packing.
India’s pace attack restricted Pakistan for a paltry 162 in 43.1 overs before India chased down the target with eight wickets in hand. The opening duo of skipper Rohit Sharma (52 off 39 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (46 off 54 balls) stitched a partnership of 86 runs for the opening wicket for ensuring a smooth win for their side in 29 overs. Ambati Rayudu (31) and Dinesh Karthik (31) comfortably scored the remaining runs as India registered their second victory in the Asia Cup.
After winning the toss Pakistan decided to bat first but wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the batsmen failed to take their side to a big total. India also registered its biggest victory against Pakistan in One-Day Internationals in terms of the number of balls remaining. India cruised to victory with 126 balls remaining. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked three wickets for India and he was adjudged as the player of the match.

Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets while Kuldeep Yadav took the wicket of Babar Azam. When India came down to chase the target, Rohit and Shikhar portrayed their masterclass and the much-hyped encounter looked like a lopsided affair.
After surviving a scare against Hong Kong, India managed to make a strong statement in the sweltering heat of UAE when they played their second consecutive match against Pakistan. Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 50 runs in nine overs and returned wicketless against Hong Kong, but he made a comeback and picked scalps against Pakistan.
Pakistan 162 all-out in 43.1 overs (Babar Azam 47, Shoaib Malik 43; Bhuvneshwar Kumar 3-15, Kedar Jadhav 3-23)
India 164/2 in 29 overs (Rohit Sharma 52, Shikhar Dhawan 46).
