Umran Malik bowling speed: In an important news development, India’s young fast bowler Umran Malik has once again set the stage on fire with a sensational bowling speed of 149 kmph in the India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. While continuing his impressive form during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), Umran has definitely taken big strides at the international level as well. The Jammu & Kashmir cricketer has been bowling his heart out and generated a staggering pace with the white ball off late.

India’s right-arm speedster Umran Malik has now made a habit of surprising batsmen with his rocket pace deliveries as he clocked an astonishing bowling speed of 149 kmph in the third and final T20I game against Sri Lanka on Saturday. This is his third fastest ball speed in the ongoing Lanka home series after having bowled the fastest ball by any Indian pace bowler as he clocked 155 kmph in the opening match. He also touched the 151 kmph mark in the second game and has consistently troubled the Sri Lanka batters with his incredible fast bowling throughout this series.

Umran Malik finished with figures of 2 for 31 in the crucial series decider against the Lanka team that included the wickets of Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana with two brilliant deliveries. Umran also ended as the highest wicket-taker in the three-match T20I series having picked up as many as 7 wickets.
